Two Maharishi Vedic Hospitals to be built in the United Arab Emirate

Two Maharishi Vedic Hospitals to be built in the United Arab Emirate

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Holland, reported on his recent visit to the United Arab Emirates and an initiative to build two Maharishi Vedic Hospitals there—one for men and one for ladies.

Dr Gelderloos said that during his stay, he met with the country's National Director who had been wanting to establish a Maharishi Vedic Hospital in Dubai. Originally, there had been plans for a Maharishi Vedic Spa, but there are already many spas and Dr Gelderloos was informed that the demand in Dubai is for something unusual, something extraordinary.

The Vedic Hospital is unique. It will provide all the modern equipment, treatments, and hospital facilities found in traditional hospitals, but in addition it will offer Maharishi Ayur-Veda treatments, and all kinds of other natural treatments supporting good health and the cure of disease.

In his travels to the desert, Dr Gelderloos found an ideal location for construction. Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Architecture for the Global Country of World Peace, confirmed that in the unbounded, beautiful purity and silence of the desert everything can be laid out perfectly according to the principles of Maharishi Vedic Architecture. Dr Hartmann has already come up with a design for the two Vastu hospitals, Dr Gelderloos reported.

Dr Gelderloos said he will return to the nation shortly to continue the progress made during his recent visit.

During his recent lectures Maharishi Hospitals and Colleges of Vedic Medicine throughout the world, Dr Walter Molk discussed in detail how a Vedic hospital will provide different kinds of therapy available.

If the Hospital is established in several smaller buildings, one will be the Diagnostic Centre, where patients will go for initial basic diagnosis and screening. There they will be examined through a comprehensive programme of modern diagnostic procedures, such as ultrasound, ECG, blood analysis and so on, as well as through ancient Vedic Pulse Diagnosis.

'And if the patient needs advanced diagnostic tests...,' Dr Molk continued, 'then he will go to the second building, the Maharishi Integrated Health Clinic; where he can receive an immediate treatment from experts trained in a wide range of therapeutic programmes in the areas of modern medicine, Maharishi Ayur-Veda, and proven complementary health systems.'

Patients in need of more prolonged treatment programmes for more serious illnesses and chronic disorders will be referred to the men's or ladies' In-Residence Treatment Centre, where they will receive additional treatment programmes including purification procedures such as Panchakarma.

There will be something for everyone—even those with perfect health. Dr Molk explains that these patients can still further improve their health by going to the Maharishi Prevention Centre and Spa, which will be especially for families, with separate areas for men and for ladies, where they 'will take a complete programme of preventive medicine, to become completely in tune with their own physiology'. They may also utilize seasonal programmes to eliminate deep-seated impurities and toxins and to preserve a youthful physiology during the ageing process, to 'ensure perfect health, along with maximum creativity and energy for the coming year'.

The complete campuses will also include a Maharishi College of Vedic Medicine. A unique building, the Exhibition Centre for Total Knowledge of Health, is also planned, with 50 rooms for different exhibition halls. Dr Molk said, 'These displays of the inner intelligence of the body are a very important aspect in the healing process and a way to achieve enlightenment, because it's a visual display of the total knowledge of health.'
